The smallest version still offers a cargo volume of 7.3m³ which extends all the way up to 19.6m³ in the largest possible Daily van. In terms of load capacity, it ranges from 3.5 tonnes to 7.2 tonnes. This kind of versatility makes the Daily suitable as a courier van making multiple urban deliveries and a removal vehicle hauling furniture and other items on heavier transport missions.
The massive range of configurations available on the Daily van extends to the engine and power outputs. You can choose to have a 2.3- or 3.0-litre diesel engine, as well as electric and low-emission versions. There's even an eight-speed automatic gearbox which is particularly popular with supermarkets.
Introduced to the market in 1978, the Iveco Daily has gone on to sell over 3 million models over 40 years. The latest Euro 6 version is 8% more fuel efficient than its Euro 5 equivalent thanks to the Eco Switch PRO system. Similarly, maintenance and repair costs have reduced by 12% as a result of higher quality components and materials being used.
Although not the most refined in the market, the Daily cabin is a professional and comfortable environment to sit it with up to 18 handy storage compartments. The interior noise level has been reduced from the fifth generation by improving vehicle acoustics to provide a quieter experience for increased driving pleasure.
